CHIQUITA BANANA

For this year’s Chiquita Pop by Nature campaign, Jiaqi Wang was commissioned to create the visual identity, celebrating both the legacy of Miss Chiquita and the brand’s vibrant pop persona. Through her dynamic, character-driven illustrations, Jiaqi injects playful energy and bold rhythm into the campaign, amplifying Chiquita Banana’s unmistakable pop spirit with a fresh, contemporary twist. She maintains the spirit that audiences already know and love while giving it a renewed sense of charm and individuality.

As part of the campaign, Jiaqi thoughtfully reimagined the brand’s iconic symbol, adding a distinctive personal touch while preserving its joyful, fun, and refreshingly vibrant personality.

The illustration was expanded beyond the page into a city-wide visual experience in Milan. The artwork was translated into immersive 3D pop-up murals installed on walls across the city, transforming the flat illustration into sculptural environments that allowed the characters and forms to emerge from the surface. The illustration was also adapted into full tram wraps travelling through Milan, turning public transport into a moving canvas and extending the project’s presence across different neighbourhoods.
