Ever had a feeling you just can’t describe? For example;
“Koyaanisqatsi” (Native American Hopi):
Nature out of balance” or a “way of life that is so crazy it calls for a new way of living”.
Hopefully Raissa Pardini’s new collaboration with T Brand Studio and Departures will help visualize these unique feelings. Illustrating 30 different unique words from languages all over the world, Raissa was tasked with researching and visualizing each specific ‘undefinable’.
It was great fun to design the words but very very challenging.
If you know me, you know I like a challenge! Instead of using illustrations, I decided to use JUST typography to illustrate the words. I love pushing typographic walls to a more illustrate way of work with letters.
