The Lady, or the Tiger?
Italian visual artist, and all round lady boss, Michela Picchi hosted her solo show ‘The Lady, or the Tiger?’ last month at Divario Space in her home city of Rome. We wish Pocko could have been there, but from seeing her images (credit Studio Daido) we are falling ever more in love with her work!
Michela worked with her strong animal motifs, the tiger and horse, and iconic colour palette to create paintings, drawings and 3D printed heads for her solo show.
Michela’s work embodies her work ethic; powerful, strong and unflinching. The show also featured a custom LED tiger sign – illuminating her signature colours all around the gallery space.
