The Egg by Annemarieke Kloosterhof
The multi-talented artist Annemarieke Kloosterhof has created a beautiful new work entitled “The Egg” – now on display at the Stour Gallery in Haggerston.
Annemarieke suggests that the work explores “the concept of nuclear families and the changing dynamics of your core values in a chaotic world.”
“I love trying to visualise abstract and quite conceptual ideas – but also the tactile approach to making this. The whole piece was sketched out, cut, sprayed and glued by hand, which makes for beautiful mistakes and shows the human connection to the piece.”
