Tactile Desires

Tactile Desires is a new mixed-media series by disciplinary artist, Vasty.
Ideas for this project were born long before the COVID lockdown, but as we enter the age where our relationship between the real & digital life come into bloom, Vasty’s project comes at the right time in the world.

“It comes alive now, a very particular moment in which it gains more sense because of the difficulties we are all having in connecting with other people in the way we were used to.”

Luckily, human beings have a great ability to adapt to circumstances and that is what we are doing, finding new ways to share our time and daily life with our loved ones no matter how far or isolated we are. Hope that when this is over, we will value real contact more than anything.
