Rebel Fashion
Just in time for Fashion Weeks kicking off in Europe Ansgar Sollman shot a story for Grazia Germany’s Big Fashion Issue. In an homage to Swiss photographer Karlheinz Weinberger, Ansgar and the creative team took cues from the photographer’s iconic book ‘Rebel Youth’ which documented youth culture in 1960s Europe. His portraits of working class teenagers, who replicated American pop culture heroes and added their own handmade designs to smoulder with “defiant glamour”, have influenced fashion and photography throughout the decades since their first publication.
