Not All Heroes Wear Capes
LA illustrator Bijou Karman has been creating superheroes for Friends of The Hennepin County Library in Minnesota. Each library hero has been created to defend different rights from freedom of expression and democracy, to your right to knowledge. The campaign was dreamt up to raise funds to support the library.
As libraries are shutting at an alarming rate on both sides of the Atlantic we are proud one of artists is creating work to support these invaluable institutions and community spaces.
