Legendary Japanese Illustrator Masanori Ushiki excedes expectations once again with his stunning new solo show ‘Easy Telepathy’. The show will run from May 17th to June 12th at the Lurf Museum in Tokyo.
The show in his own words:
“A cafe is a place of communication. And perhaps this cafe is the best “cafe gallery” in Japan from all vectors. It may not be an exaggeration to say that it is the place where the best communication is born in Japan. So, I wondered what the best communication would be for this place. It will surely be “telepathy” that does not require language, facial expressions, or gestures. Of course, we can’t use telepathy. However, from the characters I draw on the wall, I think you can feel something close to that telepathy. I’m drawing with that in mind. It’s a very easy telepathy that’s neither formal nor shady nor divine. It’s not exciting, it’s not unpleasant, it’s not cute, it’s not cool, it’s a “unique” guy.
I hope you will fully enjoy the Easy Telepathy created by the uniqueness of Ushiki‘s character work.”
