Leap Motion

Partner duo and creative laboratory, Idea & Maker have been busy experimenting with new hand tracking technology to create some rather playful and fierce 3D animation experiments.

Utilising the Leap Motion controller – along with the usual 3D / CGI suspects Houdini FX, Cinema 4D and Redshift 3D – Maxim Kroft of Idea and Maker has been exploring the possibilities that hand tracking gloves can offer.

Is performance the future of animation? Idea and Maker sure think so and are making moves to incorporate this into their future works!
