Feast with Van Santen & Bolleurs
Van Santen & Bolleurs created a wonderfully weird and hypnagogic video installation for Venice Food Design Week. The work was inspired by the symbolism of Dutch 17th Century Vanitas still life paintings and explores abundance and decadence in our modern day. The viewer experiences a feast in three courses all at the same time. He gets stuffed with both images and sound in a surreal never ending meal.
