Pocko Lab and Nomoco create new labels for historical wines
The Vaudano family has existed in the Cisterna d’Asti village for at least 4 centuries and have been growing grapes and making wine for much of that time. Vaudano came to Pocko seeking out beautiful wine labels that stood out against the typical traditional wine labels; they wanted something that felt different yet reflected the wine, the family and the nature of the region.
Pocko Lab worked with Creative Director, Silvia Gaspardo Moro to art direct and design a series of labels with a fresh and contemporary feeling which also felt classical. Choosing the illustrations of Nomoco, a long-time collaborator and colleague, it was our goal for each label to visually represent the type of wine and to feel like individual art works. The illustrations were also used in the website and in the branding of the wine.
