A hugely exciting project between paper artist Annemarieke Kloosterhof and Adidas took place this April!
Annemarieke Kloosterhof was commissioned by Adidas to create a paper artwork to promote the new Stan Smith Forever campaign. The campaign focused on being sustainable and how our purchase choices can impact the world around us. For this, a re-release of the iconic Stan Smith sneaker in recycled materials was created! All the campaign needed was an appropriate sustainable artwork…
Annemarieke decided to create a portrait of the iconic face of Stan Smith, which features all throughout the new collection. Using off cuts of paper from G . F Smith, Annemarieke pulped the paper into 9 x A3 sheets to create one homogenous artwork.
The paper artwork sits in Adidas’s London flagship for 3 weeks, after which the artwork will be sustainably repurposed into another exciting artwork soon to be revealed.
