After five years in Lima, Peru, Dave Anderson is back this side of the Amazon, determined to make even the most uptight organisation find their funny.
In recent years he’s directed Cancer Research UK’s major “Dryathlon” campaign, a dozen idents for Jacamo, bits for Nickelodeon and a successful series of sporting shorts for The Players’ Tribune. Stars he’s animated for also include the likes of Colin Farrell, Alain de Botton and comedian Bill Bailey (which won a British Arrows Gold Award).
His music video work has been regularly screened (and sometimes won awards) at film festivals around the world. A real coup was having his animation for Dr Christopher Ryan, author of the New York Times best-seller Sex at Dawn, aired and reviewed on The Joe Rogan Experience, perhaps the world’s most popular podcast.
Dave got the best training as a storyboard artist for some of the most respected comedy directors, such as Steve Bendelack and Taika Waititi, and was thoroughly chuffed to help Harry Hill plan his last movie.
