Amidst all the uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt and now Libya, Alex Majoli has been on the scene, dedicating himself to capturing these important historical events. Alex was recently commissioned by Newsweek to document Egyptian protestors calling for the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. Earlier in the year, Majoli recorded the civil uprising and resignation of Tunisian Prime Minister Mohammed Ghannouchi. Majoli is now reporting from Libya as the divided country clashes over the future of Colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi. Alex’s North African reportage can be seen here and here

Ciara Phelan recently illustrated a wonderful 18-page chapter in Bonbek’s Volume 2 magazine. If you are not familiar with Bonbek, well…it’s a magazine for kids that makes parents jealous (believe us, it’s true). Ciara has also made a beautifully surreal cover for Pixelord’s latest EP “Fish Touch”. The Russian beatmaker is world-renowned for this mix-mash of instrumental hip-hop, dubstep, 8bit bleeps and pop, and Ciara’s artwork serves as the perfect compliment to his electro-candy style. “Fish Touch” is out now on Error Broadcast.
