Since having graduated in 2002 from the University of Westminster, British born Robert Burton has come a long way. He has been featured in a number of exhibitions and gained several honourable mentions and award nominations such as the NYPhoto Awards, Sony World Photography and in the Creative Review Photography Annual. His personal work is fuelled by underlying memories of childhood experiences, reoccurring themes of age, infidelity and identity. These are also some of the nuances that Robert likes to fuse into his commissioned work, which he regards as ‘imagery that appears ordinary but comfortable and clothed in reality, with a twist’.
