James Dawe will be featured in an exhibition at London's Rook & Raven gallery, entitled "Interface". Five leading young artists working with alternative media and unequivocal style, bring together portraiture – the classical measure of art – into the ‘now’ with signature verve. James combines wide ranging and diverse source material seamlessly, to generate his own warped perception of the subject matter. In his carefully thought out compositions, there is a constant desire to intertwine mechanical structures with forms of nature and the every day. "Interface" runs from 5th July – 3rd August 2012.
