Paul Henri Masson, the artistic director at Rosapark, asked Les Jeanclode to create an illustration to represent a group of people seen from a bird’s-eye-view, and where the contours were to form a globe. The differences in colour between the people would suggest continents and oceans. The illustration promoted a flashmob in Montpellier, a “human wave”, which took part in the space of one Earth-day. So, an illustration with more than 300 people was represented in 4x3, on bus shelters and in the press throughout April.
