Ben Newman - Schuh

Ben Newman was recently commissioned by Schuh to create a mural for their Bristol store to mark their 30th Birthday; the theme being '30 years of self expression'. Ben took on the task with great enthusiasm; creating a menagerie of weird and wonderful characters (something he does exceptionally well) wearing shoes and styles covering the past 30 years on the window of Schuh using red Posterman pens. The results were a great success and Schuh absolutely loved the window art.

Hennie Haworth - British Countryside

The Guardian spotted Hennie's talent from a distance and commissioned her to produce a series of illustrations for a recent supplement based on the British Countryside. Readers were encouraged to study Hennie's work (very carefully!) and to go out and spot their very own Willow Warblers, Amethyst Deceivers, Silver-washed Fritillaries.. and some leaves.

Jeff Mermelstein - Work Oeuvre Opera

Jeff Mermelstein's latest exhibition at Rick Wester Fine Art is the first to feature his editorial work in the fashion world. Work Oeuvre Opera shows Jeff's journey with the taste making elite, from New York to Paris to Milan, photographing runway shows, behind the scenes and in the streets surrounding the intricate and often ostentatious presentations. Not in the category of paparazzi, he had privileged access to all of fashion's leading figures, from the designers to the models to the audience. In New York he photographed designers' collections from Calvin Klein to Proenza Schouler. The Parisian collections ranged from Chanel to Alexander McQueen and in Milan, from Gucci to Prada. If you happen to be in NYC, this show is a definite must see.

Ben Sandler - A great new talent!

We're proud and very excited to have the exceptionally talented Ben Sandler on our roster! Most of you may know Ben's work already from the futuro-nostalgic Tomorrowland series that featured on every blog from here to Timbuktu. Based in Paris since 2007, Ben studied philosophy before taking a degree in photography at the Ecole des Gobelins. Inspired by chance and coincidence, he also works on the subtle space between fiction and reality, and representation of reality. View his stunning portfolio here.
